Browne Smith Baker were delighted to learn that that the regional Building Design Oscars have awarded one the their recently-completed projects in Middlesbrough.
The Cooperative Building was declared The Winner of the Commerical Building Category.
The design awards were presented as part of Middlesbrough Council’s first ever Urban Design Week. Along with a series of events is being held this week to raise the profile of urban design in the town.
Eleven new projects were considered for the awards and now Evening Gazette readers can vote for their overall favourite among the 11 finalists by casting their vote in the vote box by going to http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/urban-design-awards/

Three local architects judged developments against criteria including aesthetic quality, contextual response and build quality.
