This commission was complete in December 2003. It comprised 12 additional classrooms at first and second floor “bridging” over existing ground floor buildings within a central courtyard.
The works were carried out whilst the school was in operation. Disruption was minimised by programming the works around the school timetable. This avoided noisy opertions during exam periods. The result was a building which was delivered on programme, within budget and to a happy client. This project is a true reflection of a partnering team working together effectively.
The next phase of the master plan is to construct an atrium between the new balcony and the existing school to provide a communal area below.
