This service apartment hotel ‘Roomzzz’ is being built on Swinegate in the city centre of Leeds, for Headingley based property developers, Park Lane Properties. The hotel will include 36 rooms with fully equipped modern kitchens, luxurious bathrooms and contemporary living areas.
A glamorous reception for ‘Roomzzz’ is to one side of the glazed facade on the ground floor with a Coffee shop and Roomzzz pantry for all the guests needs. The opposite side of the ground floor is to house the city central office for Park Lane Properties themselves.
Roomzzz is being built in a mix of stone and brick with Julliet balconies with frosted glass and walnut handrails on the fourth floor. This mix of contemporary and traditional materials blends in with the historic surrounding of the hotel district in Leeds.
A feature glass link sympathetically joins the new building and the existing Golden Lion Hotel adjacent. The contemporary link is designed to respect the Golden Lion’s architecture as well as provide a vibrant feature that will glow at night adding life to the existing street ambiance.
The sizes of the units will vary from studio smartpads at the front of the building to grande apartments to the rear. The studio smartpads are one bed apartments, however there are two bed and DDA compliant apartments are available also.
