Originally a manor house built in the late 1600’s by the Crosier family, Redworth Hall has been the seat of the Surtees family since the early 1700’s.

Browne Smith Baker were appointed as architects to convert and extend the buildings to form a 100 bed luxury hotel with extensive leisure facilities.

The Paramount Hotel Group bought Redworth Hall in September 1999 and Browne Smith Baker have been appointed to convert and extend the existing stable blocks and kitchen (also a listed buildings) to form new conference facilities for the hotel.

Redworth Hall is the winner of a ‘Pride of Northumbria’ award.
