The development includes nine interlinked warehouses, which feature 5 metre high walls to retain stored materials, engineering workshops with staff accommodation and attached office space, a Seafarers Mission which provides facilities for ships’ crews during their stay in the harbour, security and weighbridge stations and a purpose built twin track rail terminal with a 12 metre wide canopy covered trackside roadway that provides shelter for loading and unloading.
