This single storey extension to the existing junior school provides new general teaching accommodation with 3 classrooms, storage and toilets and was built to replace an existing mobile classroom.
The extension is attached to the existing school via a link corridor with a series of internal ramps to overcome the difference in site levels. The layout is designed to ensure full advantage of the views across the playing fields with large openable door screens to create light, bright and inspirational teaching spaces within. A new entrance also provides access to the accommodation through the playground without having to navigate though the remainder of the school.
