North East Properties Ltd’s brief was to explore the possibility of re-developing and increasing the size of the existing telephone exchange building. The aim was to show the occupants the potential within the existing building before they decided to re-locate. The scheme provided an additional 17,000 sqft to give 40.000 sqft in total.
